His lordship appeared with a troll army outside my only old castle that I had created 3 vamps from. I had a hilarious time griefing the Troll King when I was testing out hte Markgraf. A diseased troll -will- die from decay at the end of the fight. HOWEVER, disease halves the rate of regeneration. Normally, decay is of equal strength or weaker than regeneration. There is another hard counter to trolls as well. Sure, its annoying if he goes blind mid battle (or gets battle fright and runs off), but its not the game-breaker it would be for something like the Pale One king. So what if he gains 2-3 afflictions a fight. Regeneration removes one affliction every turn on the world map.

Honestly, curse isn't that big of a problem for troll king.
